Virginia D. Gibson, 60, Salina, died Sunday, April 10, 2005.
Mrs. Gibson was born Virginia Diane McBride on Nov. 24, 1944, in Salina. She was a line leader at Tony’s Pizza for 22 years and a certified master graphologist.
She was preceded in death by her father, Cyril Joseph McBride.
Survivors include her husband, Barry of Salina; two sons, Tracy Gibson and wife Pam of Manhattan and Kelly Gibson and special friend Bonnie of McPherson; three stepsons, Brian Gibson of Lakewood, Colo., Joe Gibson and wife Diane of Galva and Craig Gibson and wife Shane of Uma, Ariz.; her mother, Vera McBride of Salina; a brother, Steven McBride and wife Debbie of Beverly; a sister, Judy Shorter and husband Rick of Universal City, Texas; nine grandchildren, Shannon Tach, and Matthew, Kurtis, Kelsie, Alex, Skylar, Kasey, Mackenzie and Caleb Gibson.
The funeral will be at 10:30 Thursday at Church of the Cross United Methodist Church, Salina, Pastor James Graves officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Beverly Cemetery, rural Lincoln County.
Memorials may be made to the church.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m.
