Retired in June 2018 after a 45 year banking profession
in the Dallas,Texas area.
I remember second grade at Huesner Elementary, Mrs Plout's class. Best friend, Jon Suesy,
after receiving his mid morning bottle of milk from JoMar Dairy did the following: With provided straw, instead of Jon drinking his milk, he started bubbling (blowing into the straw in the milk) with great gusto!
Mrs Plout upon hearing the bubbling commotion yelled at Jon to STOP!!! Without missing a beat Jon blew all the harder causing the milk to erupt from the bottle like a volcano running all over the desk and down to the floor. Mrs Plout immediately and with great strength, bodily drug Jon to her in room cloak closet throwing him in and locking it. All the time Jon is kicking the door and screaming to let him out!!
Mrs. Plout then went to get the school principal, Mr. McLeod. He immediately dispatched Jon from the cloak room taking him to his office for a severe paddling. Jon never much wanted to bubble his milk after that. I have often thought by today's standards, Mrs Plout and Mr McLeod would go to jail for child abuse.
